Alex Denissov and our team deliver precise wall trim work that adds character, protects surfaces, and hides floor and ceiling gaps. We measure, cut, and fit profiles so lines stay straight and shadows look even. Floors are protected, dust is contained, and every joint leaves the room ready for paint.
During installation we plan inside and outside corners, mark studs, and attach baseboard with the right adhesive and fasteners. If you are putting up baseboard as part of a remodel, we can coordinate with flooring so transitions land cleanly.

Layout starts with lasers and straightedges so profiles run level and reveals match from room to room. For inside corners we use coping on many profiles because it seats tighter on imperfect walls than a simple miter. We combine adhesive and finish nails, set and fill fasteners, sand to a uniform surface, and run painter’s caulk at changes of plane. You receive trim that is smooth, aligned, and ready for paint.
We work with MDF for budget friendly painted rooms, finger-jointed pine for crisp edges, solid wood where impact resistance matters, and PVC in damp areas. Profile height is chosen to fit ceiling height, baseboard heaters, and floor transitions so proportions look right in every space.
Stairs demand accuracy and safety. Our staircase trim keeps consistent gaps along treads and risers, lands cleanly at posts, and respects handrail and baluster spacing guidelines. The result is a staircase that looks finished and feels solid underfoot.
We provide written estimates that reflect your rooms and profiles, not generic averages. Factors include linear footage, profile height, number of corners and returns, wall condition, demolition of old trim, and whether we paint after install. Many homeowners ask about the cost to install base trim or a typical baseboard installation price for a single floor; we outline those numbers during the walkthrough and show how bundling rooms can lower per-room cost.
Based in Lake Zurich, we complete trim projects across the Northwest Chicago suburbs, including Mundelein, Vernon Hills, Buffalo Grove, Long Grove, Deer Park, Arlington Heights, Palatine, and Barrington, with occasional work in the Chicago area.
Most projects include caulk, fill, sand, and primer so trim is paint ready. We can also complete finish painting if you prefer one team from start to finish.
Coping often seats tighter on inside corners because one piece is cut to the profile of the other. We use miters where walls are true and the profile allows it.
MDF is economical and great for painted rooms, wood is tougher for impact zones, and PVC resists moisture in baths or basements. We help match the material to each room.
Yes. We source close matches or build up multi-piece profiles so new sections blend with original trim.
We reinforce miters, add returns where traffic is heavy, and sand joints smooth before paint so corners stay crisp.
Cuts are planned to limit indoor saw time, floors are covered, and rooms are vacuumed at the end of the day. We aim for a clean site you can live in.
Yes. Bundling scopes reduces setup time and can shorten the schedule while keeping finishes consistent across rooms.
